Prunus africana) bark contains phytosterols including beta-sitosterol; pentacyclic triterpenoids (ursolic and oleanic acids); and the ferulic esters of long-chain fatty alcohols such as docosanol and tetracosanol. This extract is standardized at 12% to 13% phytosterols.
